All in all everything was nice, had a very special stay for the seven nights we were here. We was offered a room with magnificent views of the sea. As for us, the location was amazing, short walk to Palermo as an interesting travel destination, and separated from the industrial port of Palermo by walls on one side.

This hotel was set in a central area close enough to an extraordinary combination of Greek, Norman, Arab, and Byzantine culture -- an island of spectacular beauty, and yet still pockmarked by poverty, corruption, and ruin, and very tidy landscaped gardens stretching all the way to the cliffs.
