The location was marvellous and ideal for traveling around Syracuse, just off the museum, catacombs & Greek theatre & Roman Theatre, the Greek ruins, and Ortigia, the old town. Dessert restaurant Nuova Dolceria located 1 km away was a nice surprise. I appreciated the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

unique base for exploring syracuse. clean accommodation, very friendly staff from reception desk to waiters. perfect and comfortable location, close to porto piccolo marina. located close to historic sites and a museum. tastefully decorated and modern rooms, magnificent view over the town. beds were lovely and the breakfast was savoury.

Plus, the location is absolutely perfect, minutes from Archaeological Park of Neapolis. It offers beautifully maintained and modern rooms with the bath as well as relaxing chairs. Staff is helpful enough and knowledgeable and you can park your car outside.

Easy to get to, great and unbeatable location close enough to the archaeological park, railway station and Ortigia and the church. Very very good options for breakfast with most diets including the choic of milk and the runny scrambled eggs. Good pool, parking outside.

Very good and adequate breakfast selection with genuine warm smiles and the runny scrambled eggs, as example. Marvellous location to a performing arts theater. Set close to the city at all, the Mercure Siracusa Prometeo-which translates to a 25- to 45-minute walk, depending on one's pace and where one is going on the island and Teatro Greco in the great area. Fantastic service overall and parking outside. Lounge bar and good pool.

We really enjoyed this place, as it was the best hotel. The breakfast was extensive for the runny scrambled eggs, the best we had in Syracuse. The location was convenient and optimal, at a moderate distance from a performing arts theater.
